Metal A Cappella Ensemble
Meet Hellscore; the world’s first Metal A Capella ensemble! Hellscore consists of 40-ish male and female metal-heads who sing metal classics – from Iron Maiden and Judas Priest to System of a Down, Slipknot and Linkin Park.
Formed in 2016 by Scardust vocalist, Orphaned Land choir leader and international Metal A Capella entrepreneur Noa Gruman, Hellscore brings you a complete metal experience – forged from the blend of human voices in the deepest pits of hellish metal music. Hellscore has collaborated with international artists, such as Sabaton, Epica, Therion, Amorphis and Alestorm.
Hellscore won “The Most Innovative Arrangement” prize in the international choir competition at Aarhus Vocal Festival (AAVF) in Denmark (2019). Noa Gruman has represented the metal genre at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg internationally on several occasions. Hellscore keeps on rocking hard and constantly working on producing new songs, shows, and content for their fans!

An acclaimed singer, composer and unstoppable creative force, Noa Gruman is the visionary behind Hellscore – a trailblazing, 40-member a cappella metal choir that pushes the boundaries of what voices can do. As founder, conductor, and musical director/arranger, Noa has led Hellscore in unforgettable collaborations with Sabaton, Epica, Therion, Amorphis, Ayreon, Orphaned Land, Gloryhammer, Patty Gurdy and more.
Noa is best known as the powerhouse frontwoman and founder of the progressive metal band Scardust. With critically acclaimed albums, sold-out shows, appearances at major festivals like Wacken Open Air, a headlining performance in China, and tours across the UK and Europe – including supporting the iconic German power metal band, Blind Guardian – Scardust has become a true force in modern metal. Noa’s soaring vocals and fearless versatility have seen her collaborate with metal icons like Sabaton and their Legendary Orchestra, Amorphis, Gloryhammer, Orphaned Land and Therion, as well as perform on the stages of renowned institutions such as The Israeli Opera and The Israeli Philharmonic. A passionate vocal educator since 2008, she specialises in extreme vocals and continues to inspire singers across the globe.

Ori
Mazuz
Ori Mazuz is a versatile musician and producer who has become a key figure in the Israeli progressive metal and choral scenes. He is widely recognized as a tenor vocalist, arranger, and mixer for Hellscore, the internationally acclaimed metal a cappella choir founded by Noa Gruman. Mazuz plays a pivotal role in the group’s technical and creative output, specializing in translating the density of heavy metal instrumentation into intricate vocal arrangements. His work on the choir’s cover of Haken's "Somebody" is a notable example of his ability to manage complex, multi-layered vocal productions.
In addition to his work with Hellscore, Ori Mazuz is the frontman and co-founder of the Israeli progressive metal band Mental Fracture. In this project, he serves as the primary vocalist and keyboardist, showcasing a melodic tenor style that has been compared to vocalists in the modern prog and djent scenes. The band is known for its "thought-provoking" and complex sound, drawing heavy influence from iconic acts like Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, and Haken. Mazuz also takes a leading role in the technical production of the band's music, having mixed their full-length debut.
